APRO-TECH TEAM NEW MEMBER
It is important that we keep you up to date with the current happenings here at APRO- TECH. We are thrilled to introduce you to our new expert industry pharmacist, ALAIN KUPFERMAN! He come to us with extensive international work experience that he acquired for the last 50 years and shares our philosophy of offering the best solutions and being present in the international market. He is as excited to be a part of the APRO-TECH community as we are to have him.
ALAIN KUPFERMAN has a background in pharmacy and industry pharmacy from Brussels, Belgium. He has worked with several international companies before switching to consulting, to name a few: RIT Belgium, Novartis, as head of the injectables plant in Switzerland, Bayer Germany, as technical coordinator for Europe and then as plant manager at Bayer Indonesia. He also worked as overseas technical coordinator in the UK at Fisons.
He has realized many projects in Asia (Korea, Indonesia, Viet Nam, India, Thailand) specializing in factory design.
Mr. KUPFERMAN performed site visits to vaccine and non-vaccine plants, gave technical assistance for the pre-qualification team to factories or offered training for industry and regulators as part of his collaboration with the international organization WHO. He also collaborated with UNIDOassessing the African pharmaceutical industry and performed audits of API and finished goods manufacturers along with Certipharm, among other collaborations.
He has offered many training programs such as GMP training for Iranian Veterinary Association in Teheran, GMP Training for Iranian Pharmaceutical Industry, and various training sessions at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok. Thailand.
Mr. KUPFERMAN has been sharing the knowledge that he has gathered throughout the years and projects, as a lecturer at the Faculty of Pharmacy in Université de Strasbourg, France, and since 2014 he became a lecturer at the King Mongkhut University of Technology and at the Chulalongkorn University, Faculty of Pharmacy, Bangkok, Thailand.
